Taman Wawasan a garden located in Putrajaya Adminstration City. It is one of my favourite garden to visit each time I travel to Kuala Lumpur. Taman Wawasan provides a relaxing atmosphere, allowing me to chill and take my time to wonder and explore the different sites of the garden landscape.
Besides taking a stroll, I enjoy riding bicycle to visit areas in the parks that are further away from the main sites of Taman Wawasan. Thanks to Obike, visitors to the park can rent bicycle at an affordable price.The park is also equipped with a McDonald's near by and a food trucks area that opens in the evening till late at night.
Visitors wanting to try the experience of riding a hot air balloon may pay a visit to the sky ride company in the park itself. I myself can only dream of such experience as I'm unwilling to fork out the cash for the tickets. On my last visit to Taman Wawasan, I spotted an open area that is used for car boot sale, I missed the opportunity to pay the car boot sale a visit as it started raining when I arrived.
I remember stumbling into parts of the garden that were decorated according to themes. I can't recall the area but I'm sure it is there somewhere... Hidden jewel.
Overall, Taman Wawasan is a great place to spend time to relax and for picnic. There is always a new area of the park to explore and discover.
Entrance is free, just remember to keep the place clean and no vandalism.
